  • Release of version 2.3 of IBIS-PH software on January 27th, 2016, providing hyperlinks and formatting within Indicator Reports.
  • Initial Release of version 2.0 of Indicator-Based Information System for Public Health (IBIS-PH) software on December 2nd, 2013, as the Alaska Indicator-Based Information System for Public Health (AK-IBIS).

Indicator Report Status

  • The number of AK-IBIS indicators increased to 101 on July 5th, 2017, with the release of Tobacco Use - Cigarette Smoking During Pregnancy.
  • The number of AK-IBIS indicators increased to 100 on June 21st, 2017, with the release of Sugary Drinks - Adults (18+).
  • The number of AK-IBIS indicators increased to 99 on June 8th, 2017, with the release of Sugary Drinks - Adolescents (students in grades 9-12 in traditional high schools) and Drug Use - Illicit Drugs - Adults (Ages 18+) (NSDUH).
  • The number of AK-IBIS indicators increased to 97 on May 11th, 2017, with the release of Drug Use - Ecstasy - Adolescents (Grades 9-12), Drug Use - Heroin - Adolescents (Grades 9-12), Drug Use - Inhalants - Adolescents (Grades 9-12), and Drug Use - Methamphetamines - Adolescents (Grades 9-12).
  • The number of AK-IBIS indicators increased to 93 on April 19, 2017, with the release of Blood Cholesterol: Doctor-diagnosed High blood Cholesterol - Adults (M 35+/F 45+), Blood Cholesterol: Screening - Adults (M 35+/F 45+), Blood Pressure: Doctor-diagnosed Hiigh Blood Pressure - Adults (18+), and Blood Pressure: Screening - Adults (18+) .
  • The number of AK-IBIS indicators increased to 88 on March 2, 2017, with the release of Drug Use - Cocaine - Adolescents (Grades 9-12) and Drug Use - Illicit Drugs - Adolescents (Ages 12-17) (NSDUH).
  • The number of AK-IBIS indicators increased to 86 on February 14, 2017, with the release of Arthritis Prevalence - Adults (18+) and Asthma - Adults (18+) - Current Asthma.
  • The number of AK-IBIS indicators increased to 84 on January 30, 2017, with the release of Mental Health - Adults (18+) - Increased Confusion or Memory Loss, Very Low Birth Weight, and Years of Potential Life Lost before Age 75.
  • The number of AK-IBIS indicators increased to 81 on December 20, 2016, with the release of Student Weight Status Surveillance System (SWSSS) and Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance System (YRBSS).
